Email Settings

Saber, being a website platform, must be able to send emails to your users, including signup & forgot password emails. If you set up a remote email server that supports SMTP or SMTPS, you can configure Saber's email client to connect to your email server to send out emails when necessary.

NOTE: Saber also supports Email Client plugins which may be compatible with your email service provider, such as SendGrid or Gmail.

Saber includes two basic email actions, the Sign Up Email action that is used to authenticate new users, and the Forgot Password Email action, which is used by existing users to reset their account password. Some Saber plugins may also include their own email actions which you will be able to configure as well. You can choose which email client to use for each email action, and some email actions may allow you to customize the email Subject line.

Password Settings

You are able to configure password enforcement rules which will deny user account creation or password reset if the user does not provide a password that complies with your password settings.

Minimum Characters The minimum length of characters that a password should be.
Maximum Characters The maximum length of characters that a password should not exceed.
Minimum Numbers The minimum amount of numbers a user's password must contain. 0 will allow the user to exclude numbers from their password.
Minimum Upercase Letters The minimum amount of capitalized letters a user's password must contain. 0 will allow the user to exclude uppercase letters from their password.
Minimum Special Characters The minimum amount of special characters (such as !@#$%^&*) a user's password must contain. 0 will allow the user to exclude special characters from their password.
Maximum Consecutive Characters The maximum amount of characters found in a row (such as AAA or 777) within the user's password. 0 will allow the user to have as many consecutive characters as possible.

Plugins

This section will display information about each installed plugin, including whether or not they include a Startup class, a list of Controller names, REST Services, Security Keys, and HTML Components, and other information. You are able to uninstall plugins from here as well, which will force the Saber application to terminate, requiring you to restart your web server (in some cases).
